Karen Scott, MEd, RHIA, CCS-P, CPC
Karen is the owner of Karen Scott Seminars and Consulting in Memphis, Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Information Management and a Master’s Degree of Education in Instructional Technology from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Arkansas. Karen is past-president of both the Tennessee and Arkansas Health Information Management Associations and is past-chair of the AHIMA Council on Certification. She received the THIMA Distinguished Member Award earlier this year.
